2. How It Works
Return your boots using a tracked shipping service within 60 days of receiving your order. We will send your replacement free of charge within 5 working days, allowing 4 working days for delivery.
3. Conditions for Exchange
Must be within 60 days of receiving your order
Boots must be unworn outdoors, in resaleable condition, and in original packaging
The product is your responsibility until it returns to Brandecosse.
Boots must be returned in their original packaging and include a completed returns form. Download our returns form.
If you do not have a printer, please include a note inside the box detailing the below;
- Name
- Address
- Order Number
- Reason for return

4. Exchange Options
Option A – Fastest: Order the style/size you would like via our website today, then send the product you already have back for a refund.
Option B: Contact us to arrange your exchange. Once we receive your return, we’ll send your replacement within 5 working days, via a standard tracked service (delivery in 4–5 working days).
Rest of The World Exchanges/Refunds
Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges in their country. These may be due at or after delivery, and Brandecosse is not liable for them.
If you're unsure about potential charges, please check with your local customs office.
International Exchanges & Returns
If you're outside the UK, you'll need to cover return shipping costs. Free exchanges are only available for UK customers.
Important Steps:
1. Include Your Details
Add your name, full address, phone number, and email on the outside of the parcel in case it needs to be returned during transit.
2. Mark the Parcel Clearly
- Write “UK RETURNED GOODS” clearly on the outer carton.
- On the customs form and parcel, write:
“RETURNING UNSUITABLE GOODS TO SENDER” - Tick the ‘Returned Goods’ box on customs documents.
- Failure to do this may result in additional charges being levied, a possible delay in your parcel reaching us, and therefore a delay with your refund being processed
3. Attach Original Duties Receipt
Attach the original duties/taxes receipt to the outside of your parcel. This helps UK Customs recognise the items have already been taxed, avoiding further import charges when they come back to us.
Shipping
Brandecosse Ltd offers free delivery (4-5 Working Days) across the United Kingdom on all orders over £100. An express service (1-2 working days) is also available for £8 across all orders. Orders under £100, will incur a shipping fee of £3.70.
Outwith the UK, the following shipping charges apply

Europe Zone 1 - £20
Europe Zone 2 - £45
United States and Canada - £40
Rest of the World - £60

Refund Policy
Refunds/Returns/Warranty Claims and Exchanges.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Brandecosse, you may return it to us by completing the Returns Slip enclosed in with your order within 14 days under The Consumer Contracts (information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regs 2013 (Distance Contracts). The 14 days starting the day after the day on which the last of the goods come into the physical possession of the consumer or the person that they ask you to deliver the goods. Returned good must be in an unworn and saleable condition for a refund or exchange. Thus meaning, we cannot refund any boots which have been worn outside. Cost of this return to Brandecosse Ltd will be borne by the customer but we will happily send the correct size replacements without additional carriage charges. Please be careful to return the goods in their original box or packaging and we reserve the right to refuse refunds where goods are not returned in a saleable condition. Thank you for your custom.
Warranty Claims
All our boots come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, which is in place from the moment your boots are delivered. If for any reason you believe your boots have a manufacturer default, please get in touch with the Brandecosse team. We will then request that your boots are sent back for inspection, which will allow us to make a decision on your warranty claim.
We WILL NOT inspect any boot which are sent back in a dirty condition. Boots should be washed down before sending out. We reserve the right to return any pair of boot which are send back in a dirty condition.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]

Amazing boots. I suffer from Raynauds which badly effects my feet, a real problem when you spend a lot of time outside in the winter. These boots keep my feet warm and comfortable even in subzero temperatures. Great for walking the dogs as they are as tough as they are comfortable tackling deep mud, standing water, streams and snow with no problems. A quick wipe and they look as good as new. I couldn’t be more pleased with them and would highly recommend them.

The boots are beautifully made unfortunately I was advised that a 40 is a 6.5 and it’s not it’s a 7. Even with orthotics and the added insole I got the worst pressure sores (blisters) I’ve ever had. As the boots caused issues on the few occasions I’ve worn them I haven’t managed the walking I expected too. However, I’m not convinced the leather would mould as expected due to the finish/solution on the leather. At least with Dubarry you are shown a used pair. These were an expensive purchase im sure they are fashionable for dog walking in the town but mine were not suitable for shooting or country walking.

Hello Beulah, Sorry for the delay in getting back I have just seen this, bad of me. I expect by now your boots would of relaxed and fit you perfectly, do let me know. On the sizing the EU40 is indeed a UK 6 1/2 not a EU41/UK7 but if you want to pop them back so I can check that there isn’t something wrong with the size I certainly will check that for you. There is no finish/solution on the hide it is just the hide top skin which when relaxed will indeed mould to the shape of your foot. More than happy to show you my eight year old Reno’s bit tatty now but lots of life left in them yet. If I can help in any way Beulah I certainly will try but think it is all about breaking them in. There is no other brand that uses the 2.5mm hides that we use maybe with some customers it may take a little longer for you to feel the leather relaxing. Here if you need me. Jane

I was very lucky and had a pair bought for me as a present. I have had my Renos for a year now and absolutely adore them !!!! I have had Dubarry boots in the past and had wanted something different and these boots are only functional but look stunning. I wore them last year to the British Dressage Convention and was asked several times where I had got them from – I didn’t see another pair all weekend but other well know makes were two a penny !!!

These are very different from other boots I have had, many years of Dubarry but in these you can really see the difference in the quality of the leather, they are quite beautiful actually. I have only given four stars as they are not available to try on and see in shops, I live in Plymouth and Brandecosse is based in Scotland. They do however give you the option to return them if after walking around the house if the fit is not right but they should get them in shops. Florence
